These past few weeks have been really heavy for me, for a variety of reasons. I’ve been in a hardcore funk and haven’t been able to shake it or pin point what was going on. I think it’s a mixture of exhaustion and depression. However, I don’t like feeling this way. I like to be happier, funnier, determined and very focused (none of which I feel right now). This morning I woke up and said, not today Satan. I pushed myself to get out of bed and get a few things done that needed to be taken care of. I didn’t HAVE to do them today but I also didn’t want to stay in bed all day.
So, I remembered that in January, my friend Chris and I made a list for the new year. To accomplish 24 things in 2024 (Gretchen Rubin Method). Here it is almost March and I’ve done practically nothing. So, what better way to hold myself accountable than to share with other people.
In addition to 24 in 24, I also filled out my Wellness Wheel to see what areas of my life I was happy with and what areas need improvement. I’ll share my wellness wheel below my 24 in 24 goals.
Goals are nothing without action, they are just words. I’m tired of just using words and not doing anything about it. I’ve always been a believer that if you want something, you have to work hard and be dedicated to accomplish it. DO something about it, I have the power to change but only me. It’s something only I can do, so here I am putting it out into the universe how I’d like to improve and maximize my life.
I will check in every month to give an update on what I’ve accomplished. I will also provide the links to both the 24 in 24 and Wellness Wheel, in case anyone else would like to set some goals and see about improving their daily life.
