Typically I just add my recent articles to the previous blog posting I did about writing for Rare Disease Advisor, however, I felt this one needed it's own this time.
It is no secret that healthcare is expensive. They used to say "good" healthcare was expensive and now it seems nearly all or most healthcare is expensive. So many people have to go without because they just can't afford it. It breaks my heart to be honest. If you're sick, you should be able to get the help you need. It's just not like that in life. That's not how it works. Hospital visits, treatments, prescriptions, tests, I mean the list of medical goes on and on and yet here I sit... still wondering if I'll ever pay them off 🤷🏻♀️
